I heart food. And dining at Disney is my favorite. Although I have been working on limiting refined sugar and flour as much as possible, I do have a hard time resisting Disney desserts.
Disney desserts are both pleasing to the eye and to the palate. Just walk past any Disney confectioner, you may find it hard to resist the whimsical Mickey-shaped caramel apples. Or chocolate-dipped Mickey-shaped rice krispie treats. Or giant Mickey-shaped chocolate chip cookies. Really, we know everything tastes better when it’s in the shape of a Mickey head.
Unfortunately, if you don’t live within driving distance of one of the Disney Parks, your opportunities to indulge in one of these scrumptious treats are limited to vacations only.
BUT- if you live in the U.S. – I bet you live near a Disney Store.
Disney has global experience in the retail space, and can manage hundreds of stores across the country. Why not expand that experience into a global bakery chain? Disney could absolutely compete with local bakers and Nestlé® Toll House® Cafés found in malls across the country.
What do you think? Wouldn’t you want your child’s next birthday cake to come from a Disney-trained baker?
